What is Colon Hydrotherapy?
Colon Hydrotherapy is a natural, safe, and easy procedure that helps your body get rid of toxins that may be residing in your large intestine. It also helps to facilitate detoxification, re-establish the gut’s normal balance, and in turn improve the immune system function.
- At Addlife we use a closed system, which is controlled by a specialist nurse. It takes about 1 hour for the treatment.
Preparation for Colon Hydrotherapy

Fasting at least 2 hours is required before the treatment but you can sip water.
- People with heart disease problems, high blood pressure, or abdominal surgery before must consult a doctor before doing the treatment.
Colon Hydrotherapy Procedure
- The doctor will ask for medical history and physical examination to ensure that the patient can do the treatment safely.
- The nurse will take the patient to the room and explain the procedure before and after the treatment.
- Approximately of 20-60 liters of purified RO water at body temperature is released through the colon to cleanse the toxins and residual waste gently.
- Use ozone to remove free radicals from the intestines (the doctor will assess the health problem first)
- Add good Probiotics to replace the part that has been washed to allow the intestines to work at full efficiency.
- Increase the efficiency of intestinal function with the use of intestinal stimulants.·
- Drink good Probiotics to increase the efficiency of the digestive system.
- Nurse will assess and measure vital signs before the patient leave back home.
Contraindication for Colon Hydrotherapy
- People who have prior colon surgery.
- People with uncontrolled critical hypertension.
- History of heart disease
- Pregnant woman
- Elderly people who are physically very weak, for example, eating less, unable to walk, or bedridden patients.
- Patient with abdominal or intestinal problems with undergoing treatments.
- People with hernia/colon cancer.
- People who had abdominal surgery less than 3 months.
- People with red swollen hemorrhoids.
- Patient with kidney disease at all stages.
