Fibroscan is a non-invasive test used to assess the health of your liver. Specifically, it uses ultrasound technology to determine the degree of fat accumulation and fibrosis or scarring that may be present in your liver. Fibroscan can be used to diagnose fatty liver and cirrhosis without the need for a liver biopsy.
